This article looks at the issues inherent in establishing a therapeutic framework within prison environments. It examines the relevance of the psychoanalytic treatment model in light of the difficulties posed by prison settings. In this space of temporal and spatial confinement, the therapist faces many institutional limitations when constructing and establishing their therapeutic framework. Nevertheless, the transference relationship can still develop thanks to the specific arrangements that can be made within the prison environment. These adjustments open up possibilities for psychoanalytic therapy that go beyond the standard approaches laid out by Freud.

Cet article interroge la mise en place d’un cadre thérapeutique au cœur du milieu carcéral. Il s’agit d’interroger la pertinence du modèle de la cure psychanalytique au regard des difficultés inhérentes au lieu d’exercice : la prison. Dans un temps et un espace incarcérés on comprend que le thérapeute est contraint par l’institution dans l’établissement et la construction de son cadre thérapeutique. Néanmoins la relation transférentielle parvient à se déployer grâce aux aménagements possibles au cœur même de la détention, ce qui permet de penser la mise en place d’une thérapie analytique au-delà même du modèle de la cure type telle qu’elle a été élaborée par Freud.
