Pour les formateurs, la didactique professionnelle se présente comme une ressource pousvant orienter leurs pratiques et enrichir leurs réflexions. Elle est abordée ici sous trois aspects complémentaires : comme une démarche reliant la compréhension du travail à l’apprentissage, comme un champ conceptuel permettant d’appréhender et d’analyser la dimension cognitive « au fond de l’action » selon l’expression de G. Vergnaud et comme une contribution à une théorie du sujet en développement et en relation.

Professional didactics can be conceived as a resource to advice and enrich trainers’ practices. It has been developed in three ways : it is a way to create links between work understanding and learning. It is also a conceptual field aiming at characterizing the cognitive part of action (Vergnaud). It finally contributes to build a theory of subjects in development and in relationship.
