When education policies are implemented, one should identify their target audience and what the policy mean to them. In this paper, we study how workers/students perceive the Certific Program from the Federal Institute of Brazilia (IFB, campus Samambaia). All of them highlight the importance of this opportunity for professional and personal development. Meanwhile, they also underline the many challenges that the program faces, and its complexity. The paper is organized in five parts: first, we present what is Certific. Then, we underline its importance and its originality compared to other existing programs. We also describe how this program has been implemented in the IFB, before analyzing what participants in our study said about this program. We finally examine the results of the Certific program and the challenges it faces.
