<br/><br/> Résumé Dès lors que les procédures initiatiques assurant l’insertion des jeunes dans l’ordre social et culturel des adultes ont perdu de leur efficace, et, par ailleurs, que les repères en termes de classes d’âges deviennent toujours plus imprécis, les jeunes se fédèrent moins autour de leur âge qu’autour d’attributs identitaires et culturels. Confrontés à une société globale animée d’attitudes ambiguës, entre fascination idolâtre et peur panique, la construction d’une culture jeune est largement déterminée par son rapport à la classe d’âge aînée. Les jeunes adultes qui participent aux free-parties constituent un groupe spécifique au sein de la population jeune, qui manifestent de façon bruyante ce processus : des tentatives de production d’une identité culturelle « jeune » visant l’innovation sociale, motivées par une opposition transgressive à la « Société des Adultes » organisée en État-nation, et soutenues par un corpus symbolique relevant du sacré.  When on the one-hand, “coming to age” procedures which provide young people with position in the social and cultural system of adulthood have lost in efficiency, and on the other hand references to classes of ages grow unclear, young people tend to unite less around the age factor, than around identity and cultural attributes. Faced with the ambiguous attitudes of the global society, between idolatrous fascination and panic fear, the construction of a culture of youth is largely determined by its relationship to the older age classes. Young adults who participate in free parties form a specific group in the population of young people, and this group displays this process noisily: attempts to create a “young” cultural identity, looking for social innovation, pushed by a transgress opposition to the “Adult Society”, organised as a state nation, and backed by a symbolic system with its sacredness.
