Si son interprétation du passage à l’acte est centrée sur une problématique freudienne, nous lui avons préféré une autre hypothèse en montrant en quoi la référence à l’Œdipe ne peut être opératoire dans ce cas.  Marie Bonaparte met Mrs Lefebvre in the prison in which she was detained after having killed her pregnant daughter-in-law. Whereas her interpretation of this acting-out hinges on a Freudian problematic, we have selected another hypothesis and shown that the reference to Oedipus does not function in this case.
