En étant déterminée par son accessibilité, sa faisabilité et ses chances de réussite, la santé globale tend à reproduire différentes matrices d’inégalités au sein des systèmes de santé et au niveau global; Antiretroviral Medicines in Botswana at the Forefront of Global Health Transformations By focusing on access to free antiretroviral treatments in Botswana, this article analyses recent transformations of international cooperation on health issues. The partnership between the government of Botswana, the pharmaceutical company Merck & Co and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was made possible through pre-existing biomedical collaboration between the government of Botswana and the Harvard School of Public Health. This configuration of actors and interests offers a vantage point of contemporary global health partnerships in which philanthropy, science and public health overlap. Most often determined by their convenience, accessibility and chance of success, global health interventions tend to reproduce inequalities within health systems and on a global level; Los antivirales en Botsuana : un observatorio de las mutaciones de la intervención internacional sobre le salud en África La implementación, a partir del 2002, de un acceso gratuito y casi universal a las terapias antirretrovirales para personas con HIV-Sida en el Botsuana, constituye un observatorio privilegiado de las transformaciones de las políticas internacionales de salud en el Sur. La cooperación entre el gobierno de Botsuana, la compañía farmacéutica Merck & Co. y la fundación Bill y Melinda Gates, que se afianzó gracias a una colaboración de investigación biomédica entre la escuela de salud pública de Harvard y el gobierno botsuanés, revela la imbricación entre los objetivos filantrópicos, científicos y de salud pública.
