Nous est-il naturel de douter de notre accès au monde ? Le naturalisme doit-il permettre de rejeter la question sceptique comme non-naturelle, ou au contraire de reconnaître la façon dont le scepticisme traverse notre langage ordinaire ? En distinguant différents naturalismes d’après le concept de nature auquel ils font appel et selon leur position vis-à-vis de la menace sceptique, l’auteur est conduit à réenvisager l’ambiguïté des références contemporaines à Hume, et à mettre au jour l’héritage inattendu de Hume dans la lecture cavellienne des paragraphes des Recherches philosophiques de Wittgenstein sur « suivre une règle ».  What relations hold between naturalism and scepticism, after Hume, in the work of three contemporary philosophers, three « new sceptics », who inherit ordinary language philosophy ? Is it natural to us to doubt our access to the world ? Does naturalism aim at allowing the rejection of the sceptical question, or the acknowledgment of the way scepticism infuses ordinary language ? In distinguishing different kinds of naturalism according to the concept of nature they appeal to and according to their position towards the threat of scepticism, the author is led to reconsider the ambiguities of contemporary references to Hume, and to shed light on an unexpected inheritance of Hume that appears in the Cavellian reading of the rule following paragraphs, in Wittgenstein’s Philosophical Investigations.
