<br/><br/> Résumé En 2008, le Liban a vécu l'une des crises les plus critiques de son histoire contemporaine. Elle a révélé de profondes divisions politiques et l'incapacité des dirigeants à réinventer le compromis au fondement de la création de l'État, qui repose sur un équilibre entre communautés associées à l'exercice du pouvoir. La transition vers un système de représentation politique transcommunautaire est l'un des enjeux actuels. Il s'agit de passer d'une représentation communautaire à un système fondé sur la construction d'une citoyenneté nationale, et sur la libération des potentiels individuels et collectifs, sans pour autant briser la société. La crise a mis aussi en évidence les dangers de l'alignement des politiques nationales sur des enjeux externes, aboutissant à l'instrumentalisation du pays à des fins opposées à ses intérêts.  Abstract The political and Institutional Crisis in Lebanon In 2008, Lebanon has experienced one of the most critical crises of its history. It revealed deep political divisions and the inability of leaders to reinvent the compromise at the base of the state's creation, which relies on a balance between communities associated with the exercise of power. The transition to a system of political representation independent of the communities is one of the current challenges. Lebanon must move from a community representation to a system based on the construction of a national citizenship, and the release of individual and collective potential without breaking the society. The crisis has also highlighted the dangers of aligning national policies on external issues, leading to the instrumentalization of the country for purposes opposed to its interests.
