<br/><br/> Harm reduction is a paradigm interpreted in a variety of ways, guiding national public policy and orienting the practices of professionals in various care systems. The French model of RdRD is politically neutral and essentially health-based. It consists in the deployment of equipment to prevent infectious risks and opiate antagonist treatments (TAO). On the contrary, professionnals working in the field follow more diversified models that have different ethical implications and emotional cost.
