<br/><br/> L’article tente une approche universelle, puis particulière du concept de traumatisme. Il cherche à le distinguer de la notion de béance, repérée dans le discours de la plainte névrotique, et interroge les différentes modalités subjectives qui permettent au psychique de s’organiser autour du trou laissé par le traumatisme. La discussion s’appuie sur deux vignettes cliniques dans lesquelles l’intervention thérapeutique est abordée sous l’angle singulier de la construction de cas. La conclusion traite de la question des limites institutionnelles, structurelles et dynamiques du travail clinique.  The article attempts a universal, and then specific approach to the concept of psychological trauma. It seeks to distinguish it from the notion of the void, discussed in the context of the debate on neuroses and explores the various subjective modalities that enable the psyche to organize itself around the hole left by the trauma. The discussion is based on two clinical case histories in which the therapeutic intervention is addressed from the particular angle of case construction. The conclusion discusses the question of the institutional, structural and dynamic limitations of clinical work.
