N2  - Les imaginaires sombres se développent désormais à travers une scène artistique ouverte à différents modes d’expression et à une forte dimension communautaire. Cette subculture véhicule des esthétiques, mais aussi des conduites de vie, marquées par un jeu de proximité entre subversion culturelle et perversion. L’auteur pose un regard sociologique sur les esthétiques sombres dans lesquelles le corps est mis à l’épreuve, comme représentation mais aussi comme performance constituant un motif majeur, en lien à une éthique de l’ambivalence des sentiments et des sensations; The Body in Dark Subcultures . The darkest imaginary worlds are currently being developed on cultural stages open to a variety of modes of aesthetic expression and in which different communities play a key role. This subculture is the vehicle not only for aesthetic practices but also lifestyles, and bears the mark of the close bonds between cultural subversion and perversion. The author of this paper adopts a sociological standpoint on the dark aesthetic movements thereby practised, in which the body is put to the test not only as a means of representation but also as a performance, imbued with a major significance, in close connection with the aesthetics of ambivalence linked to feelings and sensations
