N2  - Le cri possède cette particularité d’être l’unique son représentable. La simple image de l’ouverture d’une bouche suffit à nous faire entendre le hurlement via le silence pictural. Le cri est un bruit ; en peinture il devient béance, intérieur de la bouche grande ouverte, caverne organique de l’effroi. L’horreur qu’il symbolise n’est-elle pas plus terrible dans le silence ? C’est une étude autour du cri dans sa portée picturale et psychanalytique, une analyse iconographique de sa représentation silencieuse, qui est ici proposée; The scream has this distinctive characteristic of being the only representative sound.
