In particular, it criticizes the use made by the authors of the notion of “deconstruction”—reduced to a mere profession of faith, without any real analysis of images and imaginaries. In contrast, it calls for a true consideration of the perspective of the colonized, in order to go beyond ethnocentrism and stereotype reproduction.‪
