<br/><br/> This paper proposes a new reading of the sources in order to agree upon a new date when Lemercier de la Rivière entered into the intellectual circles of Quesnay and Mirabeau. In doing so, this physiocrat, who is generally regarded as a secondary author of the school led by Quesnay, appears as one of its founders.
