From a psychoanalytic perspective, psychomotor therapy can offer a new way to care for a patient presenting with an untriggered psychosis. This therapeutic care focuses on support and counseling for the various imaginary identities presented by the patient and used as a protection against psychosis. The challenge for the patient and the therapist was to intervene in such a way that made it possible to restore social ties and to distance the deadly desire of the mother.
