This symptoms are frequently and wrongly analyzed as effects of the decline of the society and the family. Considering the social-historic evolution of child’s status, and thanks to a story of a treatment, this article want to highlight the specificities of the psychotherapy of terrible child; Dans la clinique de l’enfance, la désobéissance, l’agressivité et l’opposition sont aujourd’hui des motifs de consultation fréquents. Ces symptômes sont souvent analysés, à tort, comme l’effet du délitement du lien social et de la famille. En considérant l’évolution socio-historique du statut de l’enfant, cet article entend mettre en exergue les spécificités de prise en charge de l’enfant terrible à travers le récit d’une cure
