Contribution of neuro-psychomotor developmental assessment in understanding motor and psychomotor disorders in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

<br/><br/> Motor and psychomotor disorders are frequently described in literature with regard to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This article proposes, through a neurodevelopmental approach based on recent research, to highlight the contribution of standardized neuro-psychomotor assessment of children with ASDs, in order to better understand the semiology and underlying mechanisms at play that may explain the motor and cognitive behaviour of these children.
