PY - 2024///. N1 - 13 N2 - This article examines the impact of the Nutri-Score on consumer perception of products with complex properties. An experimental study was conducted with 260 respondents who were presented with two fictional packages featuring either a Nutri-Score A or E. The results show that the Nutri-Score A enhances perceived quality but does not affect perceived risk, thereby mediating the influence of the Nutri-Score on the product’s perceived value and consumers’ purchase intentions. The perceived harmfulness of the product appears to play a moderating role in these relationships.
