<br/><br/> In the fourth century took place a reformulation of the theoretical parameters of the Greek polis. Concepts such as Koinč eirenč or panhellenism became relevant as the Greek tried to get rid of the constant struggle between poleis. Nevertheless, another concept, the concept of hegemony, allows to better understand the political attempts to resolve the internal crisis of the Greek world. The access to power of Philip the second and after him Alexander supposed a reinterpretation of this conceptual network.
