Représentations visuelles et sonores des transformations sociétales : quand l’art et la science s’indisciplinent, bouleversent et créent des imaginaires collectifs

<br/><br/> Visual arts offer the possibility of an artistic approach with an aesthetic purpose but also constitute a means of reappropriating life and inventing alternative conditions of existence. Education in the different forms of beauty and possible worlds through travel, light, colors and sounds enriches individual and collective imaginations, promoting the development of sensitive thinking. Researchers have highlighted the role of the brain and in particular, of memory; music would produce an effect of disorientation, an effect of emotional synchronization and mirror neurons etc. stimulating collective imaginations. This communication brings together an experimental collaboration between a professional musician DJ and two economists specializing in the environment, the development of the North and South territories (Africa). They compare their theoretical and empirical knowledge of their disciplines with their respective artistic practices (photography and musical composition) in order to propose visual sound supports testing the emotions and perceptions of the world on differentiated audiences. This collaboration aims to transcribe realities on the ground and forms of contemporary utopias in the face of major societal challenges (environment, humanism, progress, etc.). Digital and digital innovations are being mobilized to test their capacity to transform eco-anxiety into creative energy and a provider of hope and emancipation. Les arts visuels offrent la possibilité d’une approche artistique à finalité esthétique mais constituent également un moyen de se réapproprier la vie et d’inventer des conditions d’existence alternatives. L'éducation aux différentes formes de beauté et de mondes possibles par le voyage, la lumière, les couleurs et les sons enrichit les imaginaires individuels et collectifs, favorisant le développement d’une pensée sensible. Des chercheurs ont mis en évidence le rôle du cerveau et en particulier, de la mémoire ; la musique produirait un effet de dépaysement, un effet de synchronisation émotionnelle et de neurones miroirs etc. stimulant les imaginaires collectifs. Cette communication regroupe une collaboration expérimentale entre un artiste professionnel musicien DJ et deux économistes spécialistes de l’environnement, du développement des territoires Nord et Sud (Afrique). Ils confrontent leurs connaissances théoriques et empiriques de leurs disciplines à leurs pratiques artistiques respectives (photographie et composition musicale) afin de proposer des supports visuels sonores testant les émotions et perceptions du monde sur des publics différenciés. Cette collaboration vise à retranscrire des réalités de terrain et formes d’utopies contemporaines face aux grands enjeux sociétaux (environnement, humanisme, progrès etc.). Des innovations numériques et digitales sont mobilisées afin de tester leurs capacités à transformer l’éco-anxiété en énergie créatrice et pourvoyeuse d’espoir et d’émancipation. Des supports vidéos/clips seront présentés lors du Forum.
