N2  - Nowadays, norms are far from popular. In the public eye, they are seen as a never-ending accumulation of dictates that grow increasingly complex and detached from citizens’ values. As a result, norms command less and less respect. How, then, can norms be made acceptable again, following the collapse of the traditional authorities that underpinned their legitimacy for centuries?; Les normes n’ont pas bonne presse aujourd’hui. L’image qu’en retient le public est celle d’une accumulation toujours plus complexe et distante, dont résulte une autorité décroissante auprès des citoyens.
