N2  - The article discusses the trend of mindfulness in schools from the perspective of time. While mindfulness describes a contemplative practice focusing on the present moment, the temporal structure of schools includes an orientation towards the future. Using the example of research on the effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions (MBI) particularly in the area of executive functions that has emerged in recent years, current formations in the morphology of schools are analyzed. The article opens a critical view of a current field of tension, which mindfulness raises with its focus on present moment awareness in the context of the educational structure of school that includes a direction towards the future; Der Beitrag diskutiert den Trend von Achtsamkeit in Schulen unter dem Aspekt der Zeit. Während Achtsamkeit eine kontemplative Praktik mit Fokus auf den Gegenwartsmoment beschreibt, enthält die temporale Struktur von Schule einen Zukunftsbezug. Am Beispiel der in den letzten Jahren entstandenen Wirkungsforschung zu achtsamkeitsbasierten Interventionen (mindfulness-based intervention, MBI) insbesondere im Bereich der exekutiven Funktionen werden aktuelle Formierungen in der Morphologie von Schule analysiert. Der Beitrag öffnet damit einen kritischen Blick auf gegenwärtige Spannungsfelder, welche Achtsamkeit mit dem Gegenwartsfokus im mitunter zukunftsbezogenen Strukturgefüge schulischer Pädagogik aufwirft
