Jean-François Bernardini is a politically engaged singer, founder of the Corsican group I Muvrini, and president of the association AFC Umani, which works with schools, sports teams, prisons, and non-profit organizations. For over twenty years, he has championed education for non-violence, based on listening, emotional regulation, and collective intelligence. In a world marked by systemic crises—environmental, social, and psychological—he examines the deep roots of the imbalances wracking modern society. His latest book, Dysrégulation: le mal du siècle? (Dysregulation: The scourge of the century?), offers a fresh perspective on society’s contemporary ills: What if inner, emotional, and relational dysregulation were at the root of our collective failures? In this conversation, he revisits the main ideas from his latest book, in which he links inner imbalances to global crises, and argues for a systemic approach to human and social health.
