<br/><br/> ‪This article discusses and questions the methods used to evaluate educational initiatives and innovations in higher education, using the example of the IDEFI program. This specific program has supported innovative initiatives with multiple objectives, carried out in various types of higher education institutions and aimed at a diverse range of stakeholders. Based on an analysis of scientific reports, indicators, and semi-structured interviews, our analysis highlights the challenges and methodological difficulties involved in assessing the impact of such programs.‪
