<br/><br/> The 2024 Israeli cyber-attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon inflicted broad damage on the Shia Islamist political party and undermined its legitimacy. They also highlighted the difficulty the Lebanese state had in imposing its sovereignty. Civil populations clearly figure among favoured targets for such attacks, which risk infringement of international law.
