Celles-ci peuvent être considérées comme plus sectorielles dans les années 1950 que ce qui a été affirmé. Elles furent souvent aberrantes mais marginales dans les années 1970 et en particulier assez peu utilisées dans le débat politique par le parti communiste italien, puis tombèrent presque en désuétude dans les années 1980. De toute façon, depuis 1992, après la grande recomposition du paysage politique italien et la bipolarisation gauche/droite, elles ont été relayées par d’autres clivages où les héritiers du fascisme, désormais convertis à la démocratie, sont loin d’être les cibles privilégiées de la gauche. Reste qu’il s’agit d’un sujet des plus ouverts, que ne sauraient épuiser deux textes trop courts pour ne pas sembler péremptoires. Within the confines of a response to Ernesto Galli della Loggia, this article develops the divergences regarding several moments of Italian history since 1943 concerning the legitimacy of the Republic and the functioning of antifascist references. They can be considered more sectoral in the 1950s than what was stated. They were often aberrant but marginal in the 1970s and in particular not much used by the Italian communist party in the political debate and then practically fell out of use in the 1980s. In any case, since 1992, after the major recomposition of the Italian political landscape and the left/right bipolarization, they were carried on by other divisions in which the heirs of fascism, then converted to democracy, were far from being the left’s favorite targets.
