N2  - On November 13, 2015, the heart of Paris was hit by the deadliest attacks in its history. The staff of Services Funéraires de la Ville de Paris were among the first responders to this event of unprecedented violence. It was necessary to search for and preserve the dead bodies, transfer them to the Forensic Medicine Institute, and organize funeral services and support for the bereaved families. Here, we analyze the psychological impact of this incident on these skilled and experienced responders, and the specific ways of managing individual and collective emotional experiences
