N1 - 18 N2 - “Slow tourism,” which is based on the philosophy of “Slow Food,” represents a new mode of tourism as an alternative to mass tourism. It is a mode of tourism that encourages the individual to take their time to enjoy experiences. A visitor experience that respects the way of life of the local population and goes hand in hand with the principles of sustainable development. The purpose of this paper is to better understand the effects of this new mode of tourism on the well-being and quality of life of both the visitor and the local population. We show that a systemic approach, integrating a set of stakeholders, has to be developed for slow tourism projects to be successful UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-gestion-2000-2020-3-page-129?lang=en ER -
