Collaborative housing to improve old age

<br/><br/> This article deals with new forms of senior housing, which are based on the involvement of the elderly in the management of their housing environment, as well as in the promotion of social ties and mutual support. This kind of collaborative housing appears to be a vital way of fighting against loneliness and isolation among the elderly. The article proposes a typology of these new forms of housing and a critical analysis of their advantages and their limitations, which are linked to their implementation and sustainability in France today.
