Self-hypnosis, a way of lasting in social work
- 2021.

Lasting in social work is not the result of a repetition of hardships, but rather the product of constantly renewed relationships over time. “Perceptude,” which refers to a hypnotic trance, could be a resource for social workers if teaching is provided. Self-hypnosis could then support them in their professional workflows, envisioned as the crucible from which expertise emerges. It could thus represent an alternative to the traditional reflective stance, by supporting daily professional practice.
