<br/><br/> The Augustian Friar Jean Corbechon is universally known for his translation of Bartholomeus Anglicus’ De proprietatibus rerum, which was funded by King Charles V. This paper aims to offer some new information about Corbechon as a bachelor in theology and to present some of his ideas from his participation in the principial debates held in Paris during the academic year 1369-1370. An appendix contains a transcription of the textual evidence found in manuscript Paris, BnF, lat. 15156, f. 52r-54v.  Le frère augustin Jean Corbechon est traditionnellement connu pour sa traduction du De proprietatibus rerum de Barthélemy l’Anglais, commanditée par le roi Charles V. Cet article apporte de nouveaux éléments sur Jean Corbechon, en tant que bachelier en théologie, et sur les idées soutenues lors de ses Principia à Paris, au cours de l’année universitaire 1369-1370. L’annexe de l’article contient des matériaux inédits transcrits à partir du manuscrit Paris, BnF, lat. 15156, f. 52r-54v.  Il frate agostiniano Jean Corbechon è conosciuto sopratutto per la traduzione del De proprietatibus rerum di Bartolomeo Anglico, patrocinata da Carlo V. L’articolo arreca nuove informazioni su Corbechon, baccelliere in teologia, e presenta alcune delle idee che sviluppò a Parigi durante i dibattiti dei Principia, a cui prese parte nell’anno accademico 1369-1370. L’appendice contiene la trascrizione delle testimonianze testuali scoperte nel manoscritto Paris, BnF, lat. 15156, f. 52r-54v.
