N2  - In this article, I examine the controversy surrounding School Milk Day in Swiss schools through the lens of reproductive and food studies. I introduce the framework of “nutritional reproduction” to analyze how debates over child nutrition reflect and reproduce social hierarchies. A shared repro-nutritional grammar among proponents and opponents of milk distribution emphasizes expert-led, health-oriented, and ethical childcare. However, this grammar also perpetuates exclusionary notions of Swiss national identity, marginalizing children along lines of migration, health, and class. This article contributes to understanding how food discussions intersect with reproductive injustices
