À partir de l’œuvre de Gaston Fessard, on plaide pour un discernement spirituel du destin des nations dans un monde globalisé. Le texte explore le paradoxe chrétien d’assumer et de transcender les patries. La nation n’estelle pas comme une médiation nécessaire, mais toujours perfectible par la justice et la charité ?  The notion of patriotism is revisited here in the light of Christianity and the Ignatian tradition. Drawing on the work of Gaston Fessard, the text advocates for a spiritual discernment of the vocation of nations in a globalized world. It explores the Christian paradox of both assuming and transcending national identities. Might the nation be a necessary mediation, yet always in need of refinement through justice and charity?
