N2  - Faced with the various changes in demand and their environment, federal sports bodies are led to enter into strategic managerial reasoning. The French Tennis Federation, in an attempt to introduce a process of progress within the associative fabric in its functioning, has thus marked its entry into the managerial era. Using a strategic analysis model, this article proposes to study the local repercussions of the French Tennis Federation’s strategic mode of management and to introduce, in a more global sense, avenues of managerial reflection to accompany the evolutions of sports organizations in a federal context
