This article deals with the risks faced by a company wishing to become a mission-driven company. In addition to the existing and potential legal risks associated with liability issues, reputational risk can have a lasting impact on a company’s image. Through a multiple case study, we demonstrate that a pro-active and multidisciplinary approach is more necessary than ever to prevent and reduce the occurrence of risk.
