<br/><br/> The launch in December 2017 of HMS Prince of Wales, the second Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier, is an opportunity to have an all-round look at the UK’s CVF program, one which has been party to many uncertainties. The Royal Navy has now recovered a major capability, but one that will continue to demand a lot of effort—starting with the formulation of a doctrine of use.
