<br/><br/> The exacerbated development of a firm experiencing hypergrowth is characterized by numerous tensions. How does the firm continue to grow and reinvent itself without losing its balance? The longitudinal analysis of the make-up of a medium-sized firm makes it possible to identify several components of hypergrowth. These dynamics—relating to growth rate, strategic space, activities, and the leader’s thoughts—present the same structure: the dominant rationale balances action whereas paradoxical tensions question it.
