Assessing the impact of transparency on banks' trust capital in Morocco: A contextualization study - 2022.

Transparency is often cited as a key determinant of trust. However, the meaning and importance of transparency has not yet been verified in all configurations of relationships between organizations and their stakeholders. Our research project proposes to do this in the specific context of the Moroccan banking sector. In this paper, we propose a model of the link between trust and transparency in the context of the relationships between commercial banks and their stakeholders, particularly their corporate clients. This model was initially developed on the basis of an analysis of the state of the art, and we propose to reinforce it with a contextualization study. This work has allowed us to strengthen causal hypotheses, while suggesting intermediate links between clarity and goodwill and between clarity and integrity.
