    <subfield code="a">R&#xE9;sum&#xE9;Notre &#xE9;tablissement, cr&#xE9;&#xE9; en 2003 disposant d&#x2019;un statut sp&#xE9;cifique &#xE0; comptabilit&#xE9; commerciale, r&#xE9;fl&#xE9;chit sur son projet qualit&#xE9;. Dans ce cadre nous essayons de conna&#xEE;tre la perception de la qualit&#xE9; chez les professionnels de l&#x2019;EHUO. Un &#xE9;chantillon de 20&#xA0;% des personnels repr&#xE9;sentant toutes les cat&#xE9;gories professionnelles, m&#xE9;dicale, soignante et administrative, a &#xE9;t&#xE9; retenu en utilisant la m&#xE9;thode des quotas. Ainsi, 117 personnes de 25&#xA0;services m&#xE9;dicaux et 5 non m&#xE9;dicaux ont &#xE9;t&#xE9; interview&#xE9;es durant le mois de mars 2009. Le personnel m&#xE9;dical et administratif a une anciennet&#xE9; moyenne plus &#xE9;lev&#xE9;e, mais non significative, que celle des personnels soignants (8,3 ans contre 5,8 ans, p&#xA0;=&#xA0;0,9 test H de Kruskal-Wallis). L&#x2019;ensemble des cat&#xE9;gories de personnel met en avant les v&#xE9;cus professionnels et les r&#xE9;f&#xE9;rentiels m&#xE9;tiers lorsqu&#x2019;il aborde la question de la qualit&#xE9;. De plus, il privil&#xE9;gie les dimensions &#xAB;&#xA0;processus de soins&#xA0;&#xBB; (plus chez les m&#xE9;decins et soignants p&#xA0;=&#xA0;0,01 que chez les administratifs) au d&#xE9;pend des aspects de &#xAB;&#xA0;structure&#xA0;&#xBB; et d&#x2019;&#xAB;&#xA0;organisation&#xA0;&#xBB;. Ceci est plus en faveur d&#x2019;une vision technique que manag&#xE9;riale, comme l&#x2019;atteste le fait que 2/3 des personnels d&#xE9;tiennent de fausses informations ou n&#x2019;ont aucune connaissance des dispositions organisationnelles au sein de l&#x2019;EHUO (existence de structures, s&#xE9;curit&#xE9; transfusionnelle, gestion des plaintes...). Si le personnel semble acquis totalement aux audits et &#xE0; la certification, la moiti&#xE9; semble r&#xE9;ticente quant &#xE0; la participation des repr&#xE9;sentants des usagers au conseil d&#x2019;administration de l&#x2019;&#xE9;tablissement. En g&#xE9;n&#xE9;ral, il y a peu de ma&#xEE;trise des concepts et m&#xE9;thodologies de la qualit&#xE9;. Un travail de conscientisation, de formation et d&#x2019;accompagnement dans des actions concr&#xE8;tes, semble n&#xE9;cessaire.</subfield>

    <subfield code="a">Perceived quality of care among health professionals at the University Hospital of Oran (EHUO)Created in 2003 as a profit organization, the University Hospital of Oran (Etablissement Hospitalier Universitaire d&#x2019;Oran-EHUO) is currently in the process of developing a &#x2018;Quality&#x2019; project aimed at assessing staff perception of quality. 20% of staff members representing the various professional categories working at EHUO (medical, nursing and administrative staff) were selected using quota sampling. Face-to-face interviews were conducted in March 2009 with 117 staff members from 25 medical and 5 non-medical units. The average length of service among medical and administrative staff was higher than the average length of service of nursing staff (8.3 vs 5.8 years; p = 0.9 Kruskal-Wallis H test). In discussing the question of quality, it was found that all categories of staff emphasized their specific professional experiences, standards and frames of reference. All staff members showed a greater preference for the various dimensions of the &#x201C;are process&#x201D; (mostly physicians and nurses rather than administrative staff (p=0.01)) than for the &#x201C;structure&#x201D; or &#x201C;organization&#x201D; components of the quality plan. In this sense, there appears to be a greater focus on technical rather than management aspects, as shown by the fact that two thirds of staff members were ill-informed about the hospital&#x2019;s quality assurance program (quality management, blood safety, complaints management...). While they appeared to be fully supportive of audit and certification procedures, 50% of health staff members were reluctant to support patient involvement in the management of the &#x2018;Quality&#x2019; project. Finally, there appears to be a lack of awareness of quality concepts, standards and methodologies among hospital staff. This study suggests that there is a need for greater awareness, further training, and greater monitoring of practices based on concrete actions.</subfield>
