<br/><br/> This article shows how men exhibiting compulsive seductive behaviors use arrogance and seduction to defend themselves against the resurgence of pain and guilt linked to an emotional trauma that occurred in late adolescence or early adulthood. At the same time as expressing their hostility, these men sought to punish themselves and repair their self-esteem.
