Generation Z: A generation in search of risks and entrepreneurial ethics
- 2022.

Is Generation Z inclined to follow the path of entrepreneurship? More specifically, to what extent do the younger generations emphasize the importance of innovation and risk taking among their priorities? Do they drop ethical questions and the hard-won principles of CSR? A total of 276 young people born in 1995 and 1996 responded to a survey in April 2019. To answer the questions posed, it is necessary to identify values related to the business world. Principal component analysis identified four significant factors, including the importance of innovation and risk taking. Among Generation Z, there is therefore a desire to keep in mind that professional success above all depends on a taste for novelty and risk-taking, but that this does not mean rejecting aspirations concerning ethics and CSR principles. It is under these conditions that entrepreneurship becomes a viable option.
