<br/><br/> Dans une analyse de trois entretiens ethnopsychanalytiques, le rôle de l’ethnicité dans le vécu subjectif des patients est exploré. Les patients évoquent leur ethnicité en rapport avec des problématiques précises : par exemple des conflits dans la grande famille ou la recherche d’une position identitaire. Je propose de regarder l’ethnicité comme un élément de l’ensemble plus complexe des différentes appartenances des patients. Elle n’est pas un cadre fixe qui enferme les patients dans une position statique, mais elle constitue une partie d’un ensemble de références autour desquelles les patients construisent leur identité.  The role of ethnicity in therapy: an investigation upon the subjective experience of belongingThe role of ethnicity is explored trough an analysis of the subjective experience of patients in three transcultural consultations. Patients evoque their ethnicity in relation to certain contexts like conflicts concerning the extended family or when in search of an identity position. I propose to look at ethnicity as an element of a larger whole consisting of different kinds belonging. Ethnicity is not an unchangeable frame that locks in the patients, but it is part of a series of references by which patients construct their identity.  En un análisis de tres entrevistas transculturales, intento entender y mostrar la importancia de la etnicidad en el proceso de subjetivación de los patientes. La etnicidad es evocada en ciertas problematicas: por ejemplo en el contexto de conflictos en la familia extendida en un caso o ligado a la busqueda de una posicion identitaria en otro. Propongo ver la ethnicidad como uno de los elementos de un conjunto mas complejo que es el de las pertenencias. No es este un encuadre fijo que encierre a los patientes en una posicion estatica, es una parte de un conjunto de referencias aldrededor de losquales los patientes construyen su identidad.
