Faced with these recurrent abscesses in an immunocompetent patient playing a close contact sport, the biologist suspected the strain to harbor a virulence factor explaining these recurrences; Une patiente de 16 ans consulte pour des abcès axillaires récidivants. La culture bactériologique est positive à Staphylococcus aureus. Devant ces abcès récidivants chez une patiente immunocompétente et pratiquant un sport de contact, le biologiste suspecte la production d’un facteur de virulence expliquant ces récidives
