N2  - La période de l’établissement des nouveaux liens en famille adoptive est l’objet de recherches scientifiques prolifiques. Celle antérieure, concernant l’élaboration de l’enfant en cours d’affiliation, reste un objet d’étude à construire. Cette phase pré-adoptive évaluative et préparatoire est appelée « adoptabilité psychologique » dans la pratique de l’adoption. Cet article propose un essai de préfiguration conceptuelle et descriptive de cette notion. Nous contribuons à montrer qu’il s’agit d’un processus de réorganisation identitaire constitué de mécanismes psychiques, dont l’action conjointe va générer le fonctionnement spécifique appelé « adoptabilité psychologique ». Cette conception soutient une approche intégrée entre des lignes de développement psychocognitives et psychoaffectives, ainsi que des espaces intrapsychiques, intersubjectifs induisant l’hypothèse d’une troisième topique; The period of new adoptive family bonding is the subject of much scientific research. However, the phase prior to this, concerning the development of the child during affiliation, remains understudied. This evaluative and preparatory pre-adoptive phase is called “psychological adoptability” in adoption practice. This article offers an attempt at a conceptual and descriptive prefiguration of this notion. We help show that this is an identity reorganization process made up of several psychic mechanisms, whose joint action will generate the specific functioning known as “psychological adoptability.” This conception supports an integrated approach between psychocognitive and psychoaffective lines of development, as well as intrapsychic, intersubjective spaces, leading to the hypothesis of a third topic
