N2  - Le corps social dans la modernité capitaliste est un corps politique (Hobbes, Spinoza, Rousseau). Le pouvoir, quelle que soit sa nature, repose sur la production et reproduction d’une incorporation symbolique ou imaginaire d’un ordre corporel, auquel s’identifient les membres du corps politique (corporations, corps constitués, confréries, corps de métier, congrégations, groupes affinitaires, sociétés secrètes, sectes, etc.). Le pouvoir est également incarné sous la figure d’un chef (président, monarque, tyran, despote, « guide suprême », « grand Timonier », Conducator, « grand leader ») en tant que «  représentant corporel de l’État » (Marx). De nombreux corps sociaux ou politiques sont vécus comme des corps mystiques, c’est-à-dire comme des corps collectifs supposés participer d’une réalité transcendante, supra historique, voire supra naturelle, à l’image de l’Église catholique, corps mystique du Christ, ou des deux corps du Roi analysés par Kantorowicz; The social body in capitalist modernity is a political body (Hobbes, Spinoza, Rousseau). Many social or political bodies are popularly regarded as mystical bodies, that is, as collective bodies that are assumed to partake of a supra historical, or even supra natural, transcendent reality in the image of the Catholic church, the mystical body of Christ, or of the two bodies of the King analysed by Kantorowicz
