<br/><br/> Based on a sociological survey using interviews, this paper aims to study the self-inflicted wounds or mutilations in relation to the intervieweeï¾'s schooling. First, it studies how this practice and schooling are linked. It then describes some situations in which self mutilation and backgrounds of profound discontentment influence the attitude towards school.
