<br/><br/> RésuméL’auteur tente de montrer comment, dès 1963, Myriam David a compris et soutenu les Assistantes de Service Social dans le nouveau rôle qu’elles ont à jouer dans le champs de la protection de l’enfance : repérer et signaler. Elle soutient leur souffrance dans cet acte initial pouvant entraîner une séparation et un placement. Pour ce faire, Myriam David, non sans difficultés, a introduit les bases de la psychologie dynamique dans les formations et le perfectionnement, élargissant ainsi la capacité d’évaluation des assistants de service social.  The author demonstrates how, as early as 1963, Myriam David understood and helped social workers in the new role they came to play in the field of Child Welfare : to find and report problems and difficulties. She understood their misgivings in that initial step which might lead to the removal and placement of the child. To that aim Myriam David, with much difficulty, introduced a psychodynamic approach in the initial and continuous training of social workers, allowing them to broaden their assessment skills.
