<br/><br/> Depuis les années 80, la bioéthique est devenue un domaine d’intérêt pour les décideurs et la communauté internationale a adopté, au cours des 30 dernières années, certaines normes universelles. L’UNESCO a largement contribué à ce travail mais il existe encore un écart important entre la proclamation de principes universels et la réalité du monde.Le moment est donc venu de poser les questions suivantes : l’initiative visant à élaborer des normes universelles a-t-elle été utile ou est-ce simplement illusoire ? Et comment le droit international participe-t-il à cette réflexion sur l’universalité des principes de la bioéthique ?  Since the 1980s, bioethics has become an area of interest for decision-makers and the international community has adopted, over the past 30 years, certain universal standards. UNESCO has largely contributed to this work, but there is still a significant gap between the proclamation of universal principles and the reality of the world.Now is the time to ask the following questions: Was the initiative to develop universal standards useful or is it just illusory? And how does international law participate in this reflection on the universality of the principles of bioethics?
