<br/><br/> This paper bears witness to thirty years work with “at-risk youth,” Noar Besikoum, encountered in Beit Ham youth homes in Israel. The author shows how the social and historical context, against the background of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, influences the way these young people, particularly Israeli youths, experience and get through adolescence.
