N2  - The cases discussed in this article seem representative of a certain number of children treated for autism spectrum disorder that are living in a context of economic and social precariousness. In this article we will address: the first child psychiatry consultation held by two professionals, two psychiatric consultations, and the global dynamics of psycho-corporal treatment sessions. Adjustments that were suggested during lockdown will be discussed briefly. During first consultations in the CMP (French medical and psychological treatment center), the observed symptoms seemed to resemble neurodevelopmental disorders, but after some weeks of treatment the symptoms rather resembled signs of social withdrawal linked to a context of environmental deficiency. Thus, an environment that appears to be deficient can jeopardize a baby’s development and lead to a symptomatology similar to neurodevelopmental disorder
